1776 and 20 years later I think it was a spanish ship- and Florida and a ship wreck---but I might be wrong?????
Well with my job I get the bennifit of traveling-=---yep. We got bored one day and drove to ARE-Kansas, sorry all it's funny. Went to a estate sale and while they were outside selling tractors, not lying here, 'I done bought me a boxin of them there coins" Just teasing--for a buck!!! It was a nice place, but I also got a 1921 D morgan for 18-. The roads to get there made both of car sick-----thanks!!
It's silver, but it has a hole in it, so you won't be getting $199 for it. I'm guessing a few bucks. Still good, but no early retirement.
What size/weight is it? They made these from 1/2 real up to 8 real. You will be able to tell by the weight. Its a cool find, but in that condition and with a hole I don't think its worth much more than bullion, regardless of what Ebay might say. I just got in a lot of world bullion a mounted 1776 European Thaler without a hole that was only worth melt.
