    spent some of my Morgan dollar money , but I have wanted one of these for awhile.

    yeah I like the rays . I have a ungraded Borderline cleaned looking quarter to.

    Nice looking coin. Especially her face, considering that's usually one of the most worn areas on this coin.

    Score! No regrets! I think I may have never seen a 50 cent with the rays. Mine does not have them, and it is a bit more worn.

    That's because the arrows and rays was a one year, and only part of that year, type. Fortunately the mintage was very high so they are readily available except in top grade. At one time they were so common that dealer buy offers for the seated halves and quarters would specifically exclude the arrows and rays coins.

    What grade did a TPG give it? Just curious as I really like the even wear. I call that an "honest" coin. One that saw circulation and was well used. Love it.
