So I'm still trying to go through my dad's coins and I found another unlabeled one. By the title you may think I'm trying to apply what I've learned, which I am, so bear with me lol. First of all there are fine lines covering the coin which makes me think it was cleaned by buffing it with a rag or something. Second the obverse has a slight misaligned die which isn't much of a big deal considering there is no loss of design. Finally there are what appears to be two die cracks on the reverse, the first is small running vertically from the top of the second column up along the left corner of the memorial roof. The second is more noticable beginning at the rim and traveling up through the T of CENT to the bottom right corner of the memorial. Also I'm working on taking better pictures. Still haven't got the lighting down but I feel like it's getting better, lol. Let me know how I did, if I missed something or misidentified anything. Thanks everyone.
Not closing my office till the end of February. I'll have my last FUN table next month in Orlando, and my last Long Beach Expo table in Feb. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
Really nice photos @YankeeDime. On some of your posts, it might help if they were Full Image. These were good, and large enough that it wasn't needed, but being able to click and enlarge photos is a help to those of us that are chronologically disadvantaged. LOL
I'm somewhere in the middle of chronologically disadvantaged, I can't see the date on any coin without my glasses now, lol. I have to carry around one of those ginormous note style phones with the stylus just to be able to read anything on it.
