Impaired Proof Half Dollars

I found a little more junk silver today. One of the things I found were these 3 proof half dollars, 2 1964 Kennedy’s and a 1962 Franklin. There were also a dollars worth of 1964 Roosevelt Dimes, proof as well. In hand there are no milk spots but the camera shows did pick them up.

I don’t know what the mint did differently back then, but I love how those old proofs look wet.

It’s always nice to open a sealed bag or roll of junk silver and find impaired proofs in this shape.
