I'm sure this is post mint damage, just a couple of questions

    I know this is post mint damage but, how was just a section of the inside rim get moved like it did? Would the marks on the CENT be die clash or die chips?
    Anyway, just thought I would post the pictures...

    Looks a little like it was held in a knife sharpener device and rotated. Once the copper shell was split, friction would tend to ride it upward and off of the zinc layer. Best guess I have.
