OMG! They wont crack down on a fake 1804 dollar, but they will remove my listing because i quote:"The listing was removed because it violated the eBay Misleading Title policy. The violation occurred when you included the following information in your listing: "MS-65 " - Sellers may not use numeric grades in title of raw coin listings" When did the dumb *** policy go into effect???????? To me, its a load of bull! At least DJ was the high bidder, and we can still go through with the deal, but still......
yea sounds dumb and i've seen people list numerical grades all the time. next time you should put something else like brilliant uncirculated condition
It really makes me mad too. And they pulled the friggin listing AFTER it had ended!! Talk about TOTALLY messed up priorities!! All the stupid policy is going to do is force junk coin sellers to "slab" their coins and then they will be perfectly acceptable to ebay!! Oh well, good thing I paid for it with PP before they removed the listing
ive got it! CCSSHCJSHCAECP: cody clem self slabs his coins just so he can avoid ebay's crap policy. Too long? lol
It sure did not take me long to find several raw Lincolns witha numeical grade in their title - both new listing and closing tonight. I wonder what is going on!
Ebay too big...they even Co-Brand shipping boxes now, another case of " too much commision paid " to abide by rules situation
yeah ebay did something similar to me for no reason... i guess i was making too much money from jefferson dollar errors lol
I'll bet if you put a question mark after that MS65 it would have sailed right through. On the other hand ebay has professed (finally) that they know the difference between a raw coin and a slabbed coin. Seems they have always claimed TOTAL ignorance about coins. Might be worth throwing back in their face - as a collective group.
WOW... So Clembo, where did you hear this and do you think it applies to all coins? My dollars are always slabbed but my Lincolns are raw 90% of the time. We'll see
- - HERE - - are 20 raw coins all numerically graded. Some are just listed, some are about to close. I am totally confused!
not to be picky but The 1909-S-VDB looks like it has surface line like being cleaned. The 1911-s is going for more then the S-vdb strange. If they are so nice why have them slabbed:rolling:
If they removed the auction did you get your listing fees refunded? Should also be no final sales fees (even though you can still complete the transaction with DJ). :hammer:
The guy knows how to photograph copper no doubt. Not to hijack a thread, but how do you get the pics to change as you roll mouse over them? NEAT trick.
