That's pretty cool but without the 'S' it is only worth around $10 (Good) to $25 (MS-63).

Yeah, but how many 100+ year-old coins do you find in rolls. Good for you!

Yeah, that's why I want so excited at first cuz there's was no S, then I looked up prices on NGC and the no-S is holding its own. I forgot to mention, this may be higher than MS 63, but I don't dare hope yet. I'm trying to upload now but I have a crummy signal.

Wow, that is pretty awesome. To find a coin that old in a roll is rare, but for it to be a V.D.B and in MS condition is almost unheard of. Outstanding find.....and for $0.50 at that.

The top pic is NOT the true color, the other two are pretty close. The first one was taken in dark lighting without flash.

Nice coin, it look AU or uncirculated. In the 1950's some dealers bought uncirculated rolls of 1909-s vdb rolls for $500 a roll. 1909-s is acutually scarcer than 1909-s vdb. except more people want the s vdb more.

That's spectacular! What a find. I wonder if someone is heartsick over losing it.

If that's verdigris at the E in E. PLURIBUS treat it soon so it doesn't corrode the spot.

Thank you all so much for sharing this with me, it means a lot!! You guys were the first ones I thought of, and I knew you would appreciate my find. Four hours later and the adrenaline rush is still there lol. The roll this came from was around 30 years old, and probably came from family members cleaning out a loved ones house. It its a small town, and I doubt anyone would have thought to open an old change roll. I hope all my fellow roll searchers have an equally wonderful week! :D
