I took a look at the Liberty Seated type set, but it takes 29 coins. That would be quite an expensive set to accomplish.

I've got 161 coins in my series. It's gonna take years...

Some help please, how do one see how many specimens of a specific foreign coin have been graded by NGC or PCGS?

Eazyist way is to look in recent auctions at Heritage

    Buy the population report.

Ask someone that has a population report to look them up

That is the NGC census report right? 39 US a year. Not bad.

    Nice start to your set.

    Numismania You hockey puck!!

Looks like no pedigree for you, not for awhile...tough set. Gonna need an awful lot of upgrades, and learn how to grade, to get the coins you need, without losing your shirt. And no matter what, disagreeing with a TPG, then making them review it, just to get the same 'body bag', you need to LEARN how to grade. When YOU can't grade for yourself, you haven't any business in disagreeing with a TPG.

    Knock him down to 31!!!

Hehe I know the feeling. Been working on a 1962 mint set it's only 10 coins but 3 of them not cheap at all in higher grades only 1 left to get but 1962-d nickels in high MS are NOT cheap the 2 dimes in ms66 though were not exactly easy to come by either :D. I do think the addition of the nickel (finishing the set) and replacing one of the pennies (maybe both) for a higher MS (got them when i bought the dimes) Should put me at least in the top 10 if not replaceing the non fbl half with an fbl in the same grade or better surely will :D
