im interested in the silver 2 pound proof coins

but i need some info on the series

1 what year did it start?
2. some years they were rev proof and only unc which are which?
3. approx how much do they cost?

If I'm not mistaken the 2 £ (Bullion) coin made it's debut in 1997. Not sure about the reverse proofs, and the value is around $50-$70 for the 1997 coin and varies around that for the subsequent years.
