For Father's Day, my three kids each bought me a 1986 silver eagle coin with three Whitman books to go along with them. They are truely beautiful coins to say the least. However, I was a bit confused as to why they are considered "uncirculated" when no one uses them for business purposes anyway. It's a bit like putting "No Fat" on an already existing product that never had fat in it in the first place. Anyway, I'm left think that my kids must think I'm a pretty great dad or they know that they will get these coins back one day. Hum? I had better keep an eye on them.
just making sure but the flips those coins are in look like PVC flips I had once...they can de nasty things to coins... Speedy
They were only in those flips for about an hour and are now safe and sound in the Whitmans. Life is good Speedy.
Great....I just wanted to make sure....I hod gotten some flips from a guy once that were non PVC and the next time I got some he had changed and was getting PVC flips because hes a dealer and thats what most dealers use----But I think I found out in time... Speedy
