I'm going to guess more ddd and nothing special

    think about how that happens.
    During the stamping process what can stop a letter from being clearly stamped?
    I'm sure you've heard of it many times on this board.

    The other side of that area is Lincoln's Bust..
    According to Fred Weinberg that area seems to have a weak strike causing letters to look faint. Such as the E on the word oF..

    But in this case I also think it could be struck through grease on the letter E

    Oh well maybe some day I'm done with this box so I think I will leave this alone for a while. Did find 7 or 8 wheats though. Thanks again for all the info.

    I had slightly and I do mean slightly read of that just didn't realize it could happen and the PLURIBUS UNUM be so well struck.
