I'm buying the books before the coins

I doubled the size of my numismatic library today with a visit to a used book store. I bought the Photograde guide, 1995 edition, and the 1990 World Coin Almanac. Both for a total of $7.42.

Both books are in mint shape! I thought it was a good deal. I’ll certainly be checking out more used book stores; I wasn’t sure I’d find any books on coin collecting at all, but these were in the first store I tried.

Great finds and great prices! I try to get by Half Priced Books a couple of times a month and occasionally come up with some goodies as well. There are 3 or 4 within a reasonable driving distance...fun to treasure hunt! :)

I meant, of course, Coin World Almanac, not World Coin Almanac. Slight difference. :)

Bluegill, please don't take this the wrong way, because I'm just having a little fun here... isn't it awesome when we start refering to everything in the same way we refer to our coins? "...mint shape." So, do you think the books are like an MS69 or maybe just MS64? :)

Oh, congratulations on getting some great books too!
