Well it's been a while since I've been around these parts, and it's nice to see that so many familiar members are still here. The site looks great and I can't wait to get back around to ruffling some feathers in the near future (All in good fun of course). I haven't been around here in a bit, but my collection has had some nice additions. Besides completing a smashing set of Jeffersons with the help of Greg, and a Kennedy set (with proofs of course) with the help of ebay, and FINALLY completing my Liberty nickel proof set, I decided to attempt a date set of St. Gaudens double eagles. Here are the first of what should be a fun set. The first is this lovely 1907 PCGS MS-65 OGH. The next is nice 1908 MS-63 (Although I think PCGS was a little generous with the grade) Hopefully gold stays relatively cheap for a year or so so I can get this one completed. Anyway, It's nice to be back.
Welcome back kirk, I just recently came back myself and look forward to finishing my type set and "upping" my collection. I look forward to seeing your threads.
Just hit the arrow by your name at the top of the page, go to personal details, and add a custom title.
Nice gold coins. Now that gold is a bit cheaper the coins are a bit more affordable. And congrats on finishing the set.
I am getting close, I finally found my pesky trade dollar and out of a box of 20 I only need 4 more. I also managed to pick up my 25th ase set that I wanted. So yeah I am getting close to finish all of my current goals.
Welcome back, klz! I think your Saints set is deserving of the (stealing it from VAMWorld)..........."YOU SUCK" Award. Admiringly, of course. Chris
Welcome back! Whoa, a date set. That 1921 is gonna be a killer. The grading of Saints seems to be all over the place, often depending on the slabbing date - at least to me it does. I see a lot of great looking 63s, hacked up 65s, rubby 62s and so on.
