At least I think this is a Roman coin. But after doing many searches I might have the wrong idea about this vein.
    Any help? 20121023_214957.jpg

Hard to tell but for sure its a "Roman Republic Denarius". Better photo would give me easier time to ID it but its roman :)

If its value your after, in that shape....$30 on a good day.

Thanks Mat, I'm not going to sell but have other Roman coins from Constans, Constantine, Theodosius, Gordian 3, & Constantine 2. I bring them to school and let the European AP history teachers use them. So I was looking to date and name this one.

Doug44, even though I have these pics rightside up on my camera they posted like that. I will try again as I know it is a pain to look sideways at pics. Thanks

Ok that still didn't work. So I'll turn the camera sideways and try again.

So, it appears if my camera is upside down my pic post to the site right side up. Now that is funny!
