At least I think this is a Roman coin. But after doing many searches I might have the wrong idea about this vein. Any help?
Hard to tell but for sure its a "Roman Republic Denarius". Better photo would give me easier time to ID it but its roman If its value your after, in that shape....$30 on a good day.
Thanks Mat, I'm not going to sell but have other Roman coins from Constans, Constantine, Theodosius, Gordian 3, & Constantine 2. I bring them to school and let the European AP history teachers use them. So I was looking to date and name this one. Doug44, even though I have these pics rightside up on my camera they posted like that. I will try again as I know it is a pain to look sideways at pics. Thanks
