Flipping top pop coins AKA Bank Account Roulette is risky business and we all should be aware of that. BUT I do collect these but not for profit. After an evaluation of my collection. I notice to have a lot of proof sets mint sets MS 70 and 69s modern coins and I seem to enjoy these immensely. I think it is the idea that this is how the coin is intended to look like. Thats also why I have a enjoyment in having my coins perserved/encapsulated. Keep it how it always should be Maybe the term Top Pop isnt the correct term, perhaps a better term is Perfect and Near Perfect modern collecting
I think Top Pop refers to slabbed coins that are at the top (Top Population) of the grading scale with the TPG.
