This was my morning: But I found what I think is a 1972 Type 2. Here’s the best pics I could get of the important details. Would the Ike experts check in and help tell me, is it a Type 2?
Mike, I look at the angle formed by the Western point of Cuba and the Southern point of Florida. In the Type 2, it's over 90 degrees. Five will get you ten it is.
Hey bucko, you sure have a lot of nerve defining a collection for yourself. How are the coin album makers supposed to sleep at night? How are the good people who slave night and day, day after day, mercifully defining the limits of registry sets, supposed to feed their families? But noooooooo, you have to go out there and define a set for yourself! Where do you think you ARE, anyway? A free country????? Well, excuuuuuuuse meeeeeee!
I stopped in the shop today to get paid. The owner just bought another lot of coins and it came with a bin full of Ike’s, Susan Bs and Kennedy halves, all clad. I told the owner to let me look through the Ikes that is was worth checking on the off chance. There were over 500 Ike’s. This was one of them. All of the rest of the bin went to the bank
Thank you Kurt, Ike and Eddie for helping me. It’s what I love most about CoinTalk!!! Oh, and isn’t it nice just every once in a while for a poster to actually have what they think they have?
