This is on an 1880 IHC that is graded MS63BN by PCGS. Look of the top of the "E". Is this a cud? Does it add any value to the coin? I upgraded this date this week and want to know before I try to sell it. Thanks,

    RR

Cud, no. No real added value unless it is something a buyer wishes to own, but such thing can also effect prices negatively since some collectors would prefer examples without such issues.

If its not a cud, what is it? It looks to big to be a chip. Thanks,

I would call it a die chip.
