I saw it at the first midnight showing. Then went to work at 6 30 am. I don't think any other movie would be worth it!
The movie theater by my house was a nutcase freakshow..........I have never seen so many cars and people there in the 4 years I have been living here
hey all, I am going to see it in the morning, but for a slightly different reason. I am NOT an action movie fan, but last summer, here in Chicago, I did some extra work for a film they dubbed "Rory's First Kiss", as I got on set and saw all of the license plates that said Gotham where they should have said Illinois, I figured it out rather quickly. We were in a crowd scene at the very front. During the few minutes before filming we received instruction from the 1st Assistant Director that no matter what happened that we were to NOT look at the camera, even obliquely during the shot. That pretty much said to me that we would be on camera, it is just matter of if we made it into the film, or onto the cutting room floor. We'll see. I have other stories, but I don't want to bore anyone. Suffice it to say that it was an experience of a lifetime and the fact that this movie may actually be successful.... well, it's too much to ask.
I think the thread is referring to the coin Two face/Harvey Dent uses to make decisions. Good eye, Magman.
Congrats Mike. Would love to see a screen shot of the scene you are talking about if it is possible to post. I haven't had a chance to go see it yet.
well, thanks. I went to see it yesterday. There were a total of 4 scenes that I took part in that are a part of the movie. Unfortunately, no good glimpses of me, except maybe my head and possibly me running across the background at one point. I won't even know about that until I can vid-cap a blu-ray. I still loved the experience, and a have a few souvenirs that I will shadow box along with a vid-cap, a few blank shell-casings, and my paycheck.
Not many people can say they have been in top box office hit even as an extra. What a great experience. Way to go Mike!
It looked like they made a Peace dollar looking coin with insanely high relief so the camera could pick up the detail.
Harksaw: Welcome to the forum, and it was an example of the very rare 1922 very high relief double headed Peace dollar. Commonly sold on ebay as very ultra rare, seller usually lives in China.
OK this ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Lassen-made-DAR...ryZ14014QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ) is crazy...
Ok, this guy has cahones... http://cgi.ebay.com/Batman-Dark-Kni...ryZ60361QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem "this coin only half accurate because it has heads on one side and tails on the other, it still is the exact same type of coin used in the movie"
Haha I noticed the coin right off the bat. As soon as he pulled it out and they showed a close up I was like "Oh hey, a Peace Dollar!" and a couple people next to me gave some weird looks.
