I bought myself this Birthday present back in 1998 for $175.00 I was a lil' ashamed at paying such a "high price", guess it wasn't such a bad thing after all.
Hey @Southernman189 ? What do you figure it grades at ? Antiquemoney.com says $100 to $300 in fine to VF .Sound like that's correct ?
yes taking a "GUESS" I'd say VF was a fair grade. I got a few of these but this is the better one. the $300.00 put a grin on my face but I have a feeling someone here will erase that grin lol
Man left his fortune to charity. City of Philadelphia has a lot of things build from his compounding interest.
I don't think I'd be able to give you a clear answer @Southernman189. However, I'd probably choose the Original (1865) and Series of 1875 National Bank Notes. Images courtesy of Wikipedia.
I'd be embarrassed to show mine against yours Southern Man. That is one beautiful bill. Thanks for the look see. Be safe
I only own 2 paper money notes. Still don't know how to post pictures I saved for 2 years just to buy 1 of the 2.
