There still time to get 2009-W American Silver Eagle Proof.the mint did it with the 2006-W Unc ASE and Congressman Gary Pete has all the members of Congress backing him.and congress appoints the US mint directors! so write or call your Congressman if you want a 2009-W Proof American Eagle this year!
While it may be too late for the 2009 products, the cancellation of these products should not go without notice and comment for the sake of future years and for the future of numismatics to bring more people to the hobby. Upon hearing the Mint's October 6th announcement and at the urging of some other CT members, I did write to my New York State Senators to express my dissatisfaction with the canceled products, what they mean to me and my years of collecting and expressed that they carry my concerns to the appropriate officials and offices in Washington so that this same thing not occur again in the future.

Maybe he wants the boot! and this is his exit strategy after his UHR success and pat on the back! LOL! But seriously, everyone make yourselves heard if you want the Eagle products by writing to your elected officials and direct your messages in an appropriate tone to effectively be heard.
