If this is NOT Lion facing, then what is it ? I am hoping that someone may be able to see something else in this picture, (man touching his toes?), because I am getting nowhere looking for a Lion's head, facing.
Tell us the diameter (which is not visible in a photo unless one already knows the type) and weight and show the other side, all of which help in identification. I am guessing it is very small and a Greek fraction. Here are two from Asia Minor: 5-4 mm. 0.14 grams. Miletos in Ionia Facing head of lion star pattern 550-525 BC SNG Turkey I cf. 461, but that one is 0.37 grams. Klein 423a 6 mm. 0.25 grams. Head (scalp?) of lion facing Head facing (Apollo?) c. 375 BC von Aulock 1820 "possibly Selge" in Pisidia.
I am thinking along the lines of: Pisidia SELGE,400-300 BC. Obv, Helmeted head of Athena right, Rev. Head of Lion right, but, the only examples of this coin I can find are Silver Obols and mine is definately Bronze
It looks like head of Herakles right, wearing lionskin, but struck off-center. If it's bronze, perhaps something like this: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=2337125
I vote Bowser from super Mario Bros In all seriousness I think that @zumbly has it. Herakles wearing the lion skin.
