    KM#92, 436,400,000 minted at Rome in 1954, aluminum 5 Lire, 10¢ F, 25¢ VF, 50¢ XF and $3 Unc in the 2008 35th Ed. Krause.

That's a rudder on the obverse and a dolphin on the reverse.

1954 was far and away the largest mintage of the design from 1951-2001, after which the Euro took over.

Ahhh the ole boy on the dolphin coins. Back around 400 BC that coin was a bute !!!! However, imitation is the highest form of flattery. Traci

Beautiful Svessien. I love ancients, like most of us here. Thanks for the image. I love the 2 Franc piece you use for an icon. I collect these as well, they are one of the most beautiful coins of Ceres. Traci

    Thanks, Traci :)

I just took some new pics of that coin.

I think this came out pretty nice:

Photo tip: Find a way to brace the camera, use the macro function if availible, and the timer or remote switch to take the pic. :)
    (Hope you don't mind)
