Identification required - Bulgarian?

    Found this among my notes. As the text is cyrillic I'm having a hard time identifying the currency. I've looked up some Russian notes but seen nothing like this and being from 1962, there couldn't have been many other countries that use cyrillic as most were part of the USSR at that point. Intriguing! Any thoughts as to value are welcome too, guessing it's pretty worthless though?

    Bulgaria 2 Leva - not sure of the date. I don't have a guide book.

    Thanks! Was quite pleased with the deduction, the date is in arabic numerals - 1962. Classic iconic communist imagery.

    Oh yes, I see the date right on the note. I just glanced at the pics not bothering to examine them.:smile
