I got a bunch of these. They are usually pretty worn. I think Portugal is involved some how, along with Brazil. In any case, they go for a few to several dollars on ebay inthis kind of shape.
Thanks. I could barely make out a rounded bottom of a digit followed by 13 when I was looking for a year. So what you are saying, it's more likely 1813 rather than 1613
Brazilian coins of 20 Reis, made just after brazilian independence from Portugal. It was made of cooper, between 1822 and 1832, then counter marked 10 Reis in 1830-1832. After de digits of the date there wera a leter representing were it was produced. Usuali you'll find "R" from Rio de Janeiro.
