Purchase today for 75 dollars. Just wondering if it was worth it and an idea of its grade?

At this price I'm assuming someone was giving this a Very Fine grade. But looking at the face and the various hits to letter and numerals I can't honestly say that I would go with that. Possibly a high Fine. You paid book price for a very fine. Would have tried to get them to come down on this if it had been me. But that's just me, wait for the others to chime in.

I agree the price was based on VF. I feel it is a strong F. F is $70.00 in today's "Coins" issue. The eye appeal in hand could be worth the $75.00. I buy the coin; not the grade.
