I have these two small AE coins with what looks like a spoked wheel on the reverses.

Obverses are too obliterated that they could be just about anything

    14mm:

12mm by an astounding 5mm thick

These coins are in such bad condition that it would be near impossible to get a solid ID, but here are some of my guesses based on the prominent markings still left.

    First coin could be this:
    THRACE, Mesembria.
    3rd Century BC.
    Æ 16mm
    Facing Corinthian helmet
    Wheel
SNG BM Black Sea 272; SNG Stancomb 225.

    edit...deleted the other images.

Thanks so much! First coin looks spot-on. If I hem and haw enough I can start to see *something* on the obverse of the second :)

The second one is going to be tougher. It would be best to try and soak it in olive oil for a few months and see if anything pops up.

Just found a face on the reverse. Disregard anything I posted previously I think your coin may be from Parion, Mysia. It looks like a gorgonian.

Wow, you are incredible. Thanks so much for taking the time! Sorry for the poor quality pictures.

I'll toss this in lye overnight and post some rather better pictures tomorrow.

    Thanks again!!!
