    I think it's Khusro I (531-579 AD), mint RD (Rayy), Year 10.

The portrait is better than usual for late Sasanian drachms (there's usually a flat area), though Hormazd IV isn't a rare ruler and LD is one of the more common mintmarks. So, I would not call this coin rare. Finding an exact match (ruler, mint, and year) could be a bit difficult, but since almost nobody is trying to collect a complete set of Sasanian drachms by mint and year, only an unusual mint (like ZwZwN, which I discussed recently) or a coin in exceptionally high grade is likely to bring much premium.

This is why it's That Cool that there are experts here on Parthian, Sasanian, and a wide enough range of Islamic coins to give me vertigo! I was thinking that the style was enough to suggest one of the numerous central Asian imitative series. Didn't stop to consider late issues.

Many thanks to such good experts on the Sassanids. I still have 2-3 interesting similar coins and I will put them here later to determine
