this object does not look like a modern one. there are very old lines that are very worn out from time to time. my suspicion is that this token is ancient, and then it was used 2 times when reworking
The reverse assembly looks machined even though the "coin" side looks well worn. Perhaps it was an ancient coin reworked in modern times, although I can't really place the obverse bust. It could also be more modern reproduction that's heavily worn.
Here is one small tessera from my collection. And she's wearing a Corimthian helmet too. Perhaps what I put earlier was also some kind of tessara or a token of ancient Greek origin, and it was later used for some kind of product. Initially, this product is not modern. All the same, my version is that this is a secondary use. But it is subtle. The coins of this period were thick. The backside cross and rivet attachment looks very delicate and modern technical work

I think it is a cufflink or lapel pin. Does it come apart? I can't tell if it is an ancient coin soldered to a backing ... or if is a cast replica. My guess is that it is legit. Who would cast a low-grade coin onto a jewelry item? Something like this.
