I need some help to ID with this bronze coin / token. It has a dressed half man half monkey, a little smaller than a Quarter Dollar milled edge. I thought it might be an Indian Temple Token any ideas ?
It is a coin. India native state of Rajkot 1 Paisa. The date looks like Samvat date 1947 (AD 1890). If it is very thin it is a restrike made the same year. I want one!
willieboyd2 Many thanks, Rajkot is not even listed as a state in any of my Krause catalogs, no wonder I couldn`t find it. It is very thick so not a restrike.
