A friend brought these to work this morning. I hang out in the Paper Money forum and I don't have much experience with coins. Can someone help me identify these coins and estimate their value?

White haze and grainy appearance, looks like they might be from China.

Zero. If they were legit (but they aren't), the first two would be five-figure coins.

I always cringe when I see coins like these unfortunately. How much did your buddy pay?

Is it just me or do the top two appear to have a reeded edge? If so they aren't genuine.

So, in other words, almost $2 a coin too much. :)

I highly doubt they are silver, these type of coins are a white pot metal. I see them everywhere at asian markets, almost every stall has them. I am seeing them pop up in antique malls as well. I have a bunch of similar ones I got from large group purchases. After I stamp COPY on them I give them away to kids for fun.
