That should tell you something. Why do you want to send coins to a company that you're having a hard time finding info about? Is there a reason that you dont send them to PCGS, NGC or ANACS? I did a search myself and couldnt find anything either. Personally, I've never heard of them.

ICCS is the defacto standard for Canadian Coins. I see them all the time at coin shows. That isn't to say you can't use the other ones, but ICCS is more respected.

I have a U.S. 20 cent piece slabbed by ICCS actually.

Holder says XF40. I've shown it to a few very respected dealers/friends and they put it in the AU50-53 range.

A respected grading service and very tough. NOT a fly by night company actually.

There are more than one thread on this site talking about ICCS. The tenor of all that I have seen is that they are AT LEAST as tough and fair grading as either PCGS or NGC.

ICCS does not have a web site, that's why you can't find one. But as has been said already, they are indeed a very respected grading company both here in the US and in Canada. They primarily grade Canadian coins but also do grade US coins.

There are many thngs you won't find on the interent, but not finding them there should not reflect on a company's reputation.

    Good point.

As a corollary, there are many purveyors of fakes who ARE on the net. That doesn't make them sellers that I would recommend to anyone.

ICCS is probably the best TPG at the moment. they are very conservative with grades and considering the rarity of many of the Canadian coins they grade, they set the standard for many rare coins. i will buy an ICCS graded coin unseen before i would buy the same coin graded by PCGS or NCG. they have made some mistakes sure, but they are typically spot on.

i just wish they would use a different holder.
