    216A161C-DADD-406A-8927-9C19A05CA339.jpeg 82546664-844E-4018-87D8-AF650AA34FC6.jpeg I have found this odd looking 1961D lincoln penny. if you look close it has little cuts/notches 'whatever' all around both the front and back -right out on the edges. so I weigh it and it seems light..?     Not worth investigating. Someone purposefully damaged the coin for an unknown reason. The weight is a little low but within tolerances I think.

    Worth 1 cent.

    Post mint damage. People do many things to coins when bored. Vice jobs, spooning, coca cola baths, Mercury dipping.
