I wish I could hire someone to label and organize my coins

They have maids for people that don't want to clean, closet organizers, etc. I wish they had someone willing to organize coins. I have thousands, many with errors, etc. It just feels too overwhelming to organize them. I even have a 1932 d or s quarter that one of my cats was scratching the other day.

Anyone in Atlanta want to come make sense of these thousands of coins and somehow organize them for a fair rate?

Just think of what you might learn if you do the work yourself. Why let someone else have all the fun?

Because I have so much more fun buying them! I'm horrible about putting them in the flaps or organizing and such. I've decided to stop buying so many inexpensive coins though and instead focus on some of the higher end ones.

If that's what you want, go for it. It's your money. Have fun.

That would be a lot of fun to help you out. Too bad I live in Minnesota, otherwise I would consider taking you up on your offer. I like helping people out, anyway.

Assuming you're still an active Mom, it's plain why you lack the time to do this yourself. :)

But if you are the one imposing the system, you can begin that system with new stuff you acquire, and then fold in the older stuff a little bit at a time.

Heck, this is getting more interesting. Do you provide Health care? Seems this cost is eating more of my pay check every year. It was bad before Health care reform, uhm Obamacare, uhm, Affordable Healthcare Act, but it's getting worse and worse.

Free healthcare just might tip the scales...lol.

I live in Woodstock, just outside of Atlanta. I specialize in Mexico coinage before 1900. If you have any I'd be happy to help you. Bob Murphy

OK, remember that the rules for buy/sell/trade also apply to "services". The first few exchanges in these posts seemed like a joke, and I let them ride a little, but now, I must serve warning. Although it is very likely, everyone here is on thee up and up honest, the forum does not assume such. So Pittsburghmom, and others replying please do so by PM now. Pittsburghmom, if you want to post an "official ad" please go to the proper classified forums. Sorry, Jim

Please after this point, no further posts along this line.

No problem desertgem. I had intended it to be lighthearted after looking over at my bookshelf where I probably have 200 coins mixed with other household garbage. (We also have tons of cigar boxes full.) They will probably sit there until my 12 year old son decides to earn a little extra $. :)

That is what I thought from the beginning, but several members seemed to be more interested, and I had to stop it before the " You wouldn't let me do ....." comments came in :)
