Where did you find this? If it's unsearched, why did they look for damaged coins in it? Wouldn't that be searched!
It can still be unsearched. They could have simply recognized the coins by the rim. Still, there's a difference between observing and recognizing. Simply because you see both sides of the coin, it does not signify that you are recognizing certain things on it.
Agreed but at the same time I feel as though if they pulled out damaged coins, they had to be looking for something!

Yes, it is not a phenomenal description from their part. Even if they adequately searched the coins, someone would probably buy them anyway.
Yeah and for unsearched coins, they sure know lots of details about the rolls...like knowing they're all wheats, or knowing that some rolls are same date rolls. -LTB
