I was coin rol hunting and found this 1937 P is this a (DDO/DDR)?

    1937 Philadelphia penny. do you guys think this is a double die obverse or double die reverse .?

    Was it gold plated?
    I don't see any noticeable doubling. You can check known dates/varieties and compare your coin to those.

    I think you meant Philadelphia, not Pennsylvania. LOL Other than a well circulated cent. I see nothing special.

    The photos are a little to distant to make an absolute declaration, but from what's posted it looks like a normal circulated cent. For us older collectors (i.e., the over 40 year old eyes club), photos that are cropped and take up the field of view allow for an easier diagnostic. Get as close as you can with the phone's camera in its regular setting (focal length) where your object/coin fills your screen without magnification and everything is in focus. This should help.
