5 kg of coins in surface mail, that I won in ebay. The seller told me that the Royal post in UK allow shipping by surface mail only for papers (and not coin) . I ask you if this it true? . I want to ask you if I ship coins from the USA to Israel , it is the same? Thank you for advance.
That's what it says on the Royal Mail website. The US Postal Service no longer provides for surface mail; UPS, DHL and FedEx ship internationally only by air. To ship something by sea from the US you must contact a freight forwarder. For a 5kg shipment you would probably pay more for shipping than for air parcel post. BTW oversized type is even "louder" than all caps. It's one thing to use it for emphasis of a word or two, but it's totally unnecessary for an entire message!
