Here I go again! I saw some coins on e-bay that I thought were pretty cool and decided to buy them. Here is what I got. These are (v) nickels.

    1884 x2
    1891 x1
    1892 x1
    1893 x2
    1894 x1
    1902 x1
    1903 x1
    1906 x1
    1907 x1
    1908 x2
also 2 buffalo nickels--1935, and 1936, and 1 roll of buffalo nickels, bank rolled, I payed $30.00 for everything.

I did a little research before I bid on them, and what I found was that the 1884- (V) nickels are worth $7.50 a piece. I sure hope that was right. what do you guys think? I cant put pictures up till I get em in about 3-4 days--thanks--BILL

Here is a picture of the coins. Dont know how I did it, Im really a computer dumb, dumb. They are not in the best of shape, but I think I will be happy with them. I just started looking at nickels, and have alot to learn about them. I think this is a pretty good start--BILL

Although it is a little hard to tell from the photo, the early V nickels are a little rough but the two buffalo nickels are quite nice. I think you did well in total.

Guess it depends on what you use as a guide

It's all about their condition. Low grade "V" nickels go for about a buck or so on The Bay. Greysheet says "V" nickel type in G4 is $6... where could one sell them for that ?

I think you did just fine. Enjoy and have fun with them - plus another whole roll of buffalo nickels.

From the photos, I can see some coins with nice detail, others not so much. I say if you are happy with them, than you did alright! :thumb:
