What do you think it's worth? http://www.bid4assets.com/auction/index.cfm?auctionid=398896 Since it's graded by SGS, I have a feeling that it's not MS70. What do you guys think?
I don't think he should be crucified for selling SGS coins, I think he should be crucified for the following...... PLEASE NOTICE: A 10% buyers premium or $25 processing fee, whichever is greater, applies to this listing. $11.00 DOMESTIC SHIPPING Handling and Insurance ($25.00 International) !!! Buyer must contact Us within 2 days and We must be paid within 5 days after auction. So whatever the coin sells for.... add on at least $25. Then he says>>>>>> Gold is Approaching $1,000 an ounce and Silver is approaching $21.00 an ounce and the Numismatic Hobby is "On Fire"again! Coins are skyrocketing up in value. Make your investment in the US andWorld Coin Market !! Neither gold nor silver are close to these prices....maybe wishful thinking. Then this>>>>> Go to www.pcgs.com to get accurate coin values for its particular grade.* Accurate being the key word. Personally, I would stay away. I know nothing about this we site nor seller, but neither looks interesting.
What's really upsetting is that the main description for this coin states that its book value is $3000. Not "possibly," not "maybe," nor anything like that. He states that it IS. If that coin is not MS70, he could be in some trouble. Although, if the coin being sold is the one in the picture, that is one finely detailed coin.
Nahhhh - not a chance. He doesn't say what, or rather whose book value he is referring to. And besides, it doesn't really matter since none of the so called "book values" are accurate to begin with.
I also believe it is illegal to charge a buyers premium for regular auction listings on ebay but I may be wrong.
Live auctions charge buyers premiums on eBay, but where did you get the idea this was eBay? bid4assets.com
