I think I ordered too many nickel rolls from the mint!

I recently got my shipment of P&D nickels from the US Mint and I guess I might of got carried away. So now I have about 60 sets of P&D rolls and I tried re-selling on E-bay to no avail. I will just have to hang on to them for a while.

Do you think the mint produced way more nickels in '05' than in '04'?

I hope they sell out soon.

Can I ask what, u think is the reason, that the rolls won't sell? I have a few extras, I was thinking of selling on fleaBay. I've been seeing them sell for about $20. TIA

The Mint has nothing scheduled for release on any upcomming Wednesday. The two roll set of Oregon state Quarters are set to be released at 12 noon on June 6, 2005,
On May 25 the Westward Journey Nickel Series , coin and medal set was issued. Here is what the Mint had to say on the subject:

Other than that nothing other than the regular uncirculated and silver sets to be released yet this year.

Cool! I'm going to try and order 1. I was just looking and saw that coin websites have them for sale for like $70 bucks a set, how can the mint sell them for $20 bucks a set?

Stop Motion;
While you may be able to order and pay for the sets on Wednesday, you will not be receiving them untill they are actually released and shipped on June 10th.
As the mint site says, if you want more than one order (5 sets max.), you must wait untill the next day and then all limits are removed, and you can buy all you want. That is when most dealers will try and stock up on sets for resale.

 

Search "Coin and Medal Set" on ebay, thatll be the set sold last year with the peace and keelboat nickels

Thatll be this years set with the bison and western waters nickels

both come with proof Sac and a replica medal

I think im gonna order 5 for now, and if they last, Ill order more when the silver or mint set comes out

Sorry to bug again, but I have searched the Mint website and can't find out anything about the medal set coming out tomorrow, except that it's coming out tomorrow. Any help would be great!
