Check all die markers. Hope it match. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks everyone that chime in.
Not that I can see, it is not -001. I see a line dividing some of the letters and date, but appear to be the direction of the light or such, but if it was a doubled die, the letters and date would show a full size + the extra doubled portion. On this one, it is right in the middle and both sides of it are smaller than normal. The reverse doesn't show true doubling either, Sorry, Jim
Thanks desertgem. If you could go to this link and check you won't see anything you want to see like you just said. http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1983&die_id=1983d1do001&die_state=mds Most of the pic here is die markers. Here is what coppercoins.com said in the website "1983D-1DO-001 | CLASS 2 + 6 (MDS) CONECA: UNKNOWN | Crawford:UNKNOWN Wexler: UNKNOWN | FS#:UNKNOWN coin photographed is credited to Bob Piazza. A light spread to the center of the die can be seen on the tip of the 3 in the date, and as a split on the R of TRUST. Light extra thickness can also be seen on TRUST and the date." I just follow what it look like and that why I said I might. I am so confused now
