Hey everyone! I recently lost my full-time job and during my search I have found some extra time to devote to coins and coin collecting. I decided that I wanted to start a blog about coin collecting, and more specifically, espouse my beliefs that modern coins are well worth collecting. I named the blog The Modern Collector and I'm going to use it as my own personal bully pulpit to talk about all things modern in US coinage. I hope to write posts on new Mint products, and my opinions on them, as well as talk about interesting ways to enjoy a collection based entirely after 1900. I hope that you'll stop by and give the place a look. I welcome your comments. You can find my blog at: themoderncollector.com Thanks for your feedback!
Bookmarking it now. I liked your post for the blog aspect of it, and not the lost-job aspect of it. I hope that is clear, as I hesitated to click "like".
If your taking ideas for blog topics, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the upcoming 50th anniversary Kennedy coin(s).
Added the RSS to my feed page where I read all sorts of blogs. Glad you're still offering that method.
I book marked it as well. I do believe moderns are worth collecting and would love to read your insights.
