I shot a wolf!

    I pulled the trigger on this wolf hemidrachm from Argos as a last purchase of 2016. You can see where I hit him on the neck.

    Shooting the wolf is no big deal but catching the pellet as it exited the other side does seem special! I hit mine with a trident while he was going the other way. ;)

    Seriously, mine is much later than yours after they started adding magistrate (Damar) names. References call mine 2-1st century and yours 5th with other magistrates filling the 3rd making me wonder what they used in the 4th. Research time. I know there are a lot of wolves out there.

    Nice coin Doug! I've been wanting one of these for a while not as much for the coin but the city, one of the oldest continually inhabited.
