I really like this Ike.

It was stored in one of those hard plastic cases with cardboard inside. PCGS gave it a 64. Nothing special. Just thought it's pretty.

Personally, I do not like the Ike dollars. Yours would be one that I wouldn't mind to have in my collection. It's a beautiful coin! Enjoy.

The Eisenhower dollar design isn't that nice, but this particular Ike is hard not to like.

 

Unlike the rest of the responders, I like Ike; especially when they are nice colorful examples. Nice pickup.

Great lookin coin Larry. Are you talking the kind of plastic holders you can get at places like Hobby Lobby? Square, snap together and has a square piece of (now its like foam core) with the correct sized punch out for the coin?

I like Ike's and that is some very nice toning
While I certainly agree that the obverse with Ike is not a pageant winner (cough gag) they do have 2 nice reverse designs.

 

I'm not a big fan of the Ike dollar either. Had they made it with more relief it might have been nicer, but it's so big and with the relatively low relief, it just falls "flat" for me. Pun intended.

Now Ike as a person, I like IKE.

BTW Larry, that's one of the prettier Ike's I've seen.

 

The toning is nice and even too. Not blotchy.

I have seen maybe 2 or 3 Ikes that I liked.

Sorry, but this isn't one of them.

I like the pink/purple/green colors at the center of the obverse. It is quite attractive (and natural). However, the puke-yellow around the outside, both obverse and reverse, really turns me off of the rest of the coin.

To each their own - you'll find plenty of people that like this coin. Sorry, I'm just not one of them
