I'm new to coin collecting and I have been trying to identify one paticular coin with no luck.
Anyway I ran across your site and decided to join.

Thanx in advanced for any assistance.

Welcome to Coin Talk. You have a token, not a coin.

I could be (and probably am) wrong, but I think I've seen that one before in a posting where it was identified as a Chuckie Cheese token.

Looks like Ali Baba's castle, lol. Most definitely a token for some theme park or eatery. But all the Chuck-e-cheese tokens I've seen have the mouse on one side.

I have 2 of those, and have always wondored whatn they were. well, now i know too. I still plan on keeping them, because my grandpa gave his collection to me before he died, and there were 2 of these in it.

Welcome and yes, it is a game token.
I have found a lot of these with my metal detector.

    Thank you for the replies.
    Very quick response :)
I have never heard of Aladdin's castle but I'm glad to know where it came from.

Welcome to the forum, and I have to say that is quite a nice token as apposed to some that you see over here in the UK :thumb:

I remember Aladdins Castle arcade. That looks exactly like one of their tokens. I used to go there (back in the 80s) when I was younger and buy them by the roll and spend all day there. What a productive young life I had...lol.

that second coin is a y#47 1 Sen coin from Japan (1927-1938)...I think you have it upside down.

It's Japan 1 sen Showa 10, which dates it to 1935.

Gxseries, isn't Showa 10 1936,as seen as Emperor Hirohito succeeded to the throne of Japan in 1926?

Outside of New Zealand "10" is only nine larger than "1". If 1926 is the base year (and it is, since the Taisho Emperor died on December 25, 1926) than 1935 is the tenth year, not 1936.

On the Japanese calendar what we westerners call 1926 was both Taisho 14, and Showa Gan (First).
