Funny. To restore balance to The Farce, I frequently buy Washington Quarters, but I haven't lately.

Nice score! Until recently I didn't have an interest in Washington's but slowly I've been putting together a high AU-BU set of toned pre 64's. It's been a fun set to assemble in between getting coins for my 7070.

You WILL love this experience, until the tough holes on page 1 of a Dansco start mocking you. We won't be competing with each other, because I stick to nearly white coins. A little yellow is okay, but nothing else for me.

I think you did well. you'll need to see them in hand for better evaluation. Planning to complete the album?

I hate 2 be THAT guy - but the 1st things that crossed my mind were>
    1) somebody picked out all the good ones, so will there be any gems left?
    2) $100 +/- is closer to where i would like 2 be on this so there is a little meat left on the bone for a quick flip.
    3) At that price you better hope there is a decent variety or 2 in there.
4)This would be a really nice start, to a complete set, if you are buying them to keep. Now go out there & score a 32 D-S>34/36 D & be a hero!!!!!!

My hope is to get rid of the junk and lower grade ones, find a couple varieties or money makers to recoup my $200, then keep the rest and slowly fill em up.

There are 35 silver coins in the set, so everything else is free if you figure I paid $5.71 per silver coin. Not too bad when you consider there are a couple toners and a bunch that appear BU.

    That sounds reasonable i guess....
My favorite and most profitable way to sell silver quonas- is to buy those old savings bank books. Ya know, the ones where, if u fill them up (like $10) then u can take them to the bank and open up a savings account.
Those always sell FAST, whether i sell them partial or full. They can be had pretty cheap too, way cheaper than what a dansco cost

I like that buy @ 200. That '54 looks beautiful.

Just a couple weeks ago I was scouring eBay for an Unc. 1935 P for my album- regardless of the book value on those they were all going for over $20 a piece. I settled for an AU58 in an ngc slab for $22 and cracked it out.

Hope to see photos of your favorites when they come in!

    Here's the 1935 in my set. I think it's AU55 or 58, funnily enough.

Awesome. Hope the rest of them fare well.

Is the 1954 nice in person? I love that crescent moon toning look but can't see much on the condition from the photo. The 1953-s caught my eye as well.
