Hi to everyone. I need some advise & guidance finding a free online price guide for obsolete, confederate & american large size notes. If any member here is familiar with a free website offering prices on these classifications of notes it would be an awesome help to me. I recently have morphed my coin collecting addiction into currency collecting too now! I just need help finding current prices for these notes when buying them. Thanks in advance to anybody that can help me here find a price guide.

On a side note, I'm sorry to those who are gonna tell me to search the archives & what not. I looked around here and could not find the information I'm trying to locate. I'm sorry if I'm angering any other coin talk members by posting this & asking for help.

Searching completed listings on ebay as well as the auction archives on Heritage (as referenced in the link above) will be your best gauge of current pricing. If you are looking for information in general, many books exist, lots of which are not cheap.

Thanks just bored. I tried for awhile today on the bay to find a way to search the archived sales & such. I have heard it mentioned here before & thought it'd be a easy function to locate. I could not find the area or link where to find that ability to search old sales! I'm a having a helluva time with all of this on what should seam like an easy thing. Could you please inform me on how/where to find this on ebay? Thanks

Go to Advanced Search. Type in the box what you are looking for then click on completed listings. You must be signed in to eBay to search the completed listings. It also only searches titles of listings so you have to be specific as to what you want to find and it may take more than one set of keywords to locate the information you seek.
