I have 3 coins here, 1 of which is very unusual, 1 is a 1916 buffalo, and a 1909 Indian Head Penny. Any ideas as to what the penny-type of coin is?

That Mint token appeared in the 1982 proof sets. The SBA dollar coins were discontinued after the 81 productions was completed. However, the Mint had already received the lenses for the 82 proof sets, which had a spot for the SBA dollar. Instead they minted a Mint token, the same diameter as the SBA and placed that in the 82 sets instead. This was done so as not to waste the lenses for that year's proof sets.
