Anybody know a way to remove slight pen marks on a crisp looking bill? It's on a non-inked area of the bill
A little Clorox might help, if you don't mind having white streaks where the black marks were. . Although I'm not a currency collector, I'm pretty sure they consider erasing marks on a par with scraping crud off a coin with an Xacto knife. The marks probably don't detract as much from the bill's value as the removal marks would.
thanx for the feedback... heard a rumor at some point that cleaning and starching bills are not as frowned upon as cleaning coins... but i'll probably just leave it alone
