    The "WEIGHT OF ENGLAND COINS"

    I mean Farthing, penny, six pence's and 3 pence"s .

    The year is 1940.

    • six pence, 2.8276g, 19.5mm, .500 silver, ASW .0455 oz., KM#852
    • 3 pence, 1.4138g, 16mm, .500 silver. ASW .227 oz., KM#848
    • 3 pence, 1.4138g, 16mm, .500 silver. ASW .227 oz., Prooflike, KM#849
    • 3 pence, Ni-Brass, KM#850
    Both KM#848 and KM#850 were also struck as proofs.

    What about 6, 3 pence not silver, how much

    they weight.

    Krause doesn't give a weight for the brass 3 pence and doesn't list any 1940 6 pence other than the silver one.
