I know they are going to start poping up at dealers who've bought their limits and are now going to start dumpping them on the market, at a nice markup of course...

What would be a fair price to buy one of these sets??? Original Box, ungraded....

I'd really like one of these sets, but I don't want to let my impules make me pay way way more than I should...

I've only been watching the online market, but most sets seem to be going at $200+. Of course, if it has been opened, an online dealer could have cherrypicked between sets for the best submission coins. I know this wouldn't qualify those coins for the 20th anniversary label, but I'm sure it's still happening.

I recently bought a set in the unopened shipping box (maybe I'm paranoid) to purposely avoid this. Of course, if you could get the coins in person that would be even better.

IMO, anything at or below $200 (including taxes or shipping) would be a good deal.

I love the set...hope you can find one at a decent price!

smullen. I would be careful about these "ungraded set" because many have been cherry picked. I am not an expert on this and price is relative but from what i have seen lately the price between the raw and 69 is not that significant . I would say under $300 and at least if you get it from one of the more reputable companies , you know what you are getting.

If you just want a raw set they can be obtained for about the same or a little less. Am sure others will post information trying to help but definitely under $300 for now anyhow. Sure eBay has some for less if you want to go that route

Yes it is a very nice set and good luck

    Thanks for all the replies..

If I ordered some, I'm sure whatever I get'll be picked over, but I'd think they'd still be in decent condition...

So, I'm not sure how much that worries me as I don't plan on getting them graded or selling them for 30 or more years if I don't have too... I one of those guys that kinda holds on to stuff and never sells or get rid of something unless its for a way better item..

I found a place or two that has them for 299...

I can decide if I want to spend the extra cash or just do without; learning my lesson that I shoulda ordered them when I had the chance....

If I did order them, I'd make sure they had a return policy, so if I wasn't happy I could return them...

i have seen sealed single sets on ebay for 300.00 ,as you may know, you can have the reverse proof graded after you open it and might get lucky, a NGC pr70 is going for about 1000.00,i'd rather for a couple extra bucks get something not cherrypicked. i don't think the price of these sets is going to go down...........

I got lucky when I sold one of my NGC graded 69 sets...There was a bidding war and the price went up to $325 =)
